Appointment preparation

Prepare for your consultation

A practical checklist for bringing the right schedule facts to a Techtrackbase employment consultation in Germany.

Bring a one-page schedule picture

Write your current contracted weekly hours and show how they are normally distributed. Beside that, write your preferred total and pattern. Include start and finish times if these matter; “four days” alone leaves important questions unanswered.

Note the rhythm of the role

List recurring meetings, fixed customer windows, handovers and periods when your presence is genuinely difficult to move. Mark assumptions as assumptions. You do not need to solve every staffing question before the consultation.

Choose your boundaries

Separate:

  • the part of the request that is essential;
  • details you strongly prefer;
  • one alternative you could realistically accept;
  • personal information you do not want to discuss at work.

Documents that may help

A non-sensitive summary of contractual hours, an existing draft request and relevant employer correspondence can provide context. Remove colleague names, client details and unrelated confidential material.

Do not send medical files, identification documents, account credentials, complete personnel records or information that belongs to another employee.

Use the enquiry form to mention any deadline, active dispute, discrimination concern, threatened dismissal or existing legal representation. Do not include the sensitive detail itself. These points may mean that an employment-law professional should advise you before a preparation consultation.

On the day

For video sessions, join from a private place with your schedule notes available. For appointments in Frankfurt, wait for the written location confirmation before travelling. Allow ten minutes after the session to note immediate decisions.
